Devin Sipley has been playing rhythm guitar for the past 6 years. 4 of those years have been spent with Small Town Glory. As the rhythm guitarist, as well as an active singer, he lends his vocal talents to more than half of the songs performed. Although, often called a Sentimentalist by the rest of the group, for singing heartfelt renditions of songs, like "Stand by Me", and "Crazy love", while strumming upon an Acoustic Guitar, he also enjoys rocking out when the mood strikes. His passion for music and playing guitar stems from his youth, watching and idealizing friends and family around him. Seeing the pleasure these people got playing music and entertaining crowds excited him and convinced him that he had to be a part of it. After teaching himself to play the guitar, he began to learn and master as much material as he could find, especially classic rock covers, and songs he heard his brother, Tristan, continually playing. When not on stage, Devin is busy attending the College at Brockport, where he is in his final year, double majoring in Communication Studies and English Literature. He spends his free time practicing old songs, learning new ones, and immerses himself in pop culture (television, film, etc) As a film buff and an overall entertainment junkie, he hopes to pursue a career within the field of Public Relations/Advertising upon graduation.
